General Requirements:
Full-time position with no other employment by the employees' permitted.
Full charge, experienced, live-in couple to handle sophisticated, brand-new 12,000sf house.
We travel approximately 5 months per year (we are away more in the summer than winter).
Will want couple to oversee and manage home while we are away. Ideally, we would like our employees to work 5 1/2 days per week when we are in residence and 5 days per week when we are out of residence (shorter hours 9am-4pm).
Not formal household – casual elegance.
Hours – 9:00am-5:00pm. We would like our housekeeper to work some evenings helping with preparing dinner (salad, veges, etc) 2-3 nights per week and then cleaning up after the meal. Also, turning down the beds nightly.
Assisting when we have parties.
New home has approximately 8,800sf downstairs and 2,450sf upstairs, plus staff quarters with 850sf (with living room, kitchen, laundry, bath, and 1 bedroom). Have a 2-car and 3-car garage.
Need to speak and understand English fluently.
Be available for certain holidays – Thanksgiving, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Passover. Do not need for Christmas or Easter.
2 week vacation after 1 year of service.
Salary - $75,000+, with 1 bedroom suite, cell phone, and car provided for errands. Other benefits will be considered.

Our client is searching for a live-in couple (the position offers attached living quarters with separate entry that includes a kitchen, bath, living room and bedroom) at their home in Aspen, Colorado. I have attached a job description. Salary will be based upon experience and is negotiable, and this client is happy to pay a current market salary. They are also willing to provide some training for the right couple. They prefer a confident young couple, preferably Asian, who have experience working together. They don’t have to have a chef, but a very good cook, hopefully with experience cooking healthy Asian and Italian dishes. The couple should have no children or pets
Job Description – Live-in Domestic Couple as Cook/Housekeeper & Butler
The couple must be pleasant, hardworking, reliable, honest, flexible and willing. Their heart must be in their job, committed and responsible. Must be pro-active, discreet and professional. Past experience and longevity in a job is important.
Joint Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Joint duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: valet, table service, chauffeur, auto maintenance, shopping, minimal indoor and outdoor gardening, minor household repairs, securing outside assistance for other repairs, arranging flowers, cooking, laundry, ironing, vacuuming and general housekeeping, as well as maintaining household supplies, care for silver and antiquities and Clients’ delicate clothing and personal belongings.
Manage the entire household when Clients’are not in residence. Ensure that everything is in good order, in place, well stocked and replenished, etc. to keep the property and household in tip-top condition. Schedule carpet cleaning, window washing, etc.
Mr. & Mrs. Hefner entertain both large and small groups – Menu planning, provisions and preparation.
Be on call and available at all times when clients are in residence. Whenever the Clients’ are in residence, perform such services as requested.
Joint duties and responsibilities may be divided according to expertise, experience and training. In this regard one of you shall be primarily responsible to manage the household checking account and provide records for bookkeeping.
Serve as caretakers and assume responsibility for the property. The property should never be left vacant at any time; there must always be someone staying at the residence. This has to be taken into consideration when planning to take personal days and coordination with the Property Manager.
Willing to learn and attend courses where necessary.
Assist Property Manager whenever needed.
Supervise and assist Daily help.

This person must speak and understand English. This person must have extensive experience working in large personal homes (12,000 + sq ft.). Duties of a Housekeeper include but ate not limited to:
Thorough disinfecting and cleaning of entire house
